COCOA CAKE (KAKAOLU KEK)


Ingredients

175g unsalted butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup hazelnuts, crumbled
1 1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 handful chocolate chips

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, blend the butter and sugar together until creamy. Add the eggs one after the other, mixing all the while.
  • Add the milk, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder and salt and mix until creamy.
  • Add hazelnuts, cocoa powder and chocolate chips to the batter and mix.
  • Preheat the oven to 190° C and bake until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and serve.
